Cavco Industries, Inc. recently made a returned trip to Washington D.C. to participate in the 2024 Innovative Housing Showcase. On display in 2024 is the Blue Ridge, a single-level duplex home with a total of 1,085 square feet and part of the Anthem duplex series. The Anthem product is notable for being the first nationally available, HUD-approved duplex.
“This home is produced in Rocky Mount, Virginia and we could not have produced it without the wonderful employees that we have in Rocky Mount that took a lot of pride in developing this product and they’ve done just a… wonderful, wonderful job,” states Jim Trepinski, general manager, Fleetwood Homes of Rocky Mount. “To come into the market with a product that is so affordable that will improve some of the density issues…is just a phenomenal thing.”
